It is important for us Christians to start on the education of our kids in religious matters from a young age، or else they will never really be able to learn about it، but instead will be tempted by the devil. In this day and age، having good childrens sermons is more important than ever، because kids are tempted by the temptations of sex، drugs، and free thought from an earlier age than ever for. The fact is، though، that coming up with good childrens sermons on your own can be pretty taxing. There are، after all، a lot of different things that have to go into a good childrens sermon. The children sermon must be simple enough for the young listeners to understand، yet it must not fail to convey the full meanings of whatever part of the bible it is on to the listener. IT is harder than that، even، because childrens sermons must also often be able to hold the attention of the parents. When you are giving childrens sermons، you must never forget that you are not only a preacher، but an entertainer. If you do not hold the attention of your church members، then they will never learn anything that you are trying to get across.
For all of these reasons، I have always liked to get my childrens sermons from one of the many Internet sites available when I do not have any other ideas myself. There are thousands or even millions of childrens sermons out there on the Internet، and many of them are available for free if you just look for them. A lot of preachers are really reluctant to use other peoples sermons، because they want to speak directly to their congregations in their own words. The way that I look at it، though، is this way. Whether it is with childrens sermons or normal sermons for adults، I feel that if fellow Christians are preaching the word of god، then it is the word of God period. Either they are wrong، or they are right، but if they are right، why should not their childrens sermons be seen as fit for my own congregation. That is just vanity to think that I am the only one who is out there who knows how to speak the truth. Why not borrow the words of others، if those words are good and true?
