Its probably fairly safe to say that most middle class home have garages with lift master garage door openers or some brand of opener. Not since I was a kid have I spotted the manual versions. Not that these werent fine at one time. They certainly didnt bother me when we had them back in high school when I received my drivers license. It was not big deal. It would be terrible to resort back to the manual model. These days I simply role up to my driveway، press a button on the visor in my car، and pull into the well-lit garage. It has a safety light that kicks on when the door opens. Then once Im in، I press the button again and Im safe inside.
